Yelm, Epicenter of? or Culinary wonder?

I took a trip down to Yelm to explore the new development that had just recently established itself in August. Pulling into Yelm you would not expect a hopping town with any nationality other than white. Sorry to say that because well it's in the middle of no where. I came across a couple Mexican, a couple pizza, and the ever so blah fast food. But low and behold you eventually come across a Japanese restaurant called "Kinja". I know the owner and there family. I walk in and the place was hopping from 6:30- 9:30pm. I had talked to Kim and asked him if it was busy for him and he said "It was crazy the first couple months open." It is good to know that business owners are willing to risk it all to become successful. Shows passion.
